The MLS head gasket requires a very smooth engine block deck surface. Surfaced to an RA Finish of 8-14
Head surface also has to be very smooth. Surfaced to an RA Finish of 8-14
Install gasket on studs dry, no sealer.
Install the head; lube the stud nuts and washers with either 30wt motor oil or ARP lube. Using the factory torque sequence, torque to 100-120ftlbs with 30wt motor oil?. 80-90ftlbs with ARP lube.
