Installation Instructions Cross Drilled Front Rotors 1980-1995

Application: 1092000 - Rotors - 22R 2WD Cross Drilled Rotor (80-83)
1092003 - Rotors - 22R 2WD Cross Drilled Rotor (84-95)
1092006 - Rotors - 22R 2WD Cross Drilled Rotor SR5
1092009 - Rotors - 22R 4Runner Vented Cross Drilled Rotor (84-95)
1092012 - Rotors - 22R 4WD Non-Vented Cross Drilled Rotor (83-85)
1092015 - Rotors - 22R 4WD Vented Cross Drilled Rotor (85-95)


  1. Remove protective coating on the rotors with carb cleaner or acetone.
  2. 2WD and 4WD models
  3. Loosen wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle and support it securely. Remove the wheel.
  4. Remove the brake caliper. Move the caliper out of the way and secure. Do not let the caliper hang from the hose.
  5. 2WD models
  6. Remove the hub and disc from the axle.
  7. Remove the disc from the hub by removing the 5 retaining bolts.
  8. Install the new disc and the 5 retaining bolts. Follow a criss-cross pattern and torque the bolts to 33ftlbs.
  9. Install the axle hub and caliper and adjust the front bearing preload to factory specs.
  10. 4WD models
  11. Using a large punch and hammer, drive the lug studs out of the axle hub.
  12. Remove the two disc retaining bolts and separate the disc and hub.
  13. Install the new disc to the axle hub and tighten the two retaining bolts. Torque to 33ftlbs.
  14. Using a collar positioned under the hub and a large punch and hammer, drive the lug studs back into the hub.
  15. Install the axle hub and adjust the front bearing to factory specs. Install the wheel.
