The LC Pro Crankshaft Scraper will decrease crank windage and drag by removing excess oil from the crankshaft while reducing oil foaming, producing increased horsepower and longevity.

Installation Instructions: The Crankshaft Scraper must be fitted to your engine. Install crank scraper on the intake side of the oil pan rail opposite of the dip stick, with the angle down towards the oil pan. With the crank and rods installed in block, rotate and check clearance between crank/rods and scraper. Minimum clearance .100" required. Modify scraper accordingly.

Remove scraper, apply a thin bead of silicon on pan rail under scraper location. If gasket is used for pan, cut gasket to clear scraper, use silicon between pan and scraper. If using silicon pan gasket, run a 5mm bead around pan rail on block and over scraper, install pan and torque. Turn engine over by hand to assure proper clearance.
